Overview – Sterile Connectors AseptiQuik C and X 

The AseptiQuik of the series C and X are Sterile Connectors to connect single-use-systems or components in non sterile room with each other. The necessary steps follow an easy click-pull-twist pattern and can even be executed with hand gloves. 

AseptiQuik C:

First, the male and female halves have to be positioned towards each other and then pushed into each other until a click sound can be heard. Then the membrane paper has to be pressed together by it’s pull tabs and then pulled out. Last, the blue cover ring has to be turned in clockwise until another click sound can be heard. Now, the sterile connection is done. 

AseptiQuik X:

First, the male and female halves have to be positioned towards each other with the help of the marking before they have to be pushed into each other. The blue cover ring has to be turned clockwise for about 75° until a click sound can be heard. Then the membrane paper has to be pressed together by it’s pull tabs and then pulled out. Last, the blue cover ring has to be also turned further until a second click sound can be heard. Then the sterile connection is done. 

Sterile Connectors of the series AseptiQuik C and X are made for irradiation up to 50 kGy and are therefore well fit for pre-assembled and also gamma sterilized assemblies. Additionally, there is a so called High Temperature (HT) version, which can be autoclaved. 

The production and packaging of the AseptiQuik Sterile Couplers happens in a ISO class 7 cleanroom. To match even the highest requirements, we assure the products quality by multiple checking.
