The Braided Silicone Tubing Pharmatechâ„¢ is made of platinum-cured silicone rubber with an inlay of synthetic fabric. The tubing is transparent and is suitable for critical applications that require a constant visual monitoring of the fluid. Moreover the material itself is tasteless, odorless and has also a smooth surface.
The Braided Tubing is intended to be used when the working pressure of a regular silicone tubing is not enough anymore. Possible applications are manifolds and the transfer of liquids as well as complex filtration processes. The Pharmatecâ„¢ tubing can not only be gamma-sterilized, but also autoclaved. Therefore, it is highly suitable for sterile applications.
Most importantly the tubing is produced within an ISO class 7 cleanroom in order to meet the requirements of your processes. The smooth surface minimizes the risk of a growth of bacteria and also provides the best production results possible. Furthermore, it facilitates the cleaning in multi-use-applications and increases also the process reliability.
